Commission Type Offered & Eligibility Criteria:
For those who have passed with Matric Science at 60% marks or Intermediate F.SC Pre-Medical course with 60 percentage (Percent) marks. Armed Force Nursing Services or AFNS Commissioned Officer (Lieutenant) Course is provided.
The ladies who completed a B.SC General nursing degree from HEC recognized institution or posted RN B.SC nursing can apply for commission officer courses as experienced Nurse Lieutenant.
Physical Standards:
Height:
5 Feet or 152 centimeters will be the height needed.
Weight:
The weight is to be worked out according to the body mass index of the individual candidates.
Marital Status:
Women citizens from Pakistan who are not married are allowed to apply.
Selection Procedure:
The applicant must take tests and interviews before being considered an eligible candidate. The selection process is comprised of the following.
- Initial Test (MCQs & Intelligence).
- Medical examinations performed by AS & RC Centres.
- Interviews.
- Letters to the individual for more interviews/selections. A short list of females who are eligible for induction.
- The final decision will be based on merit and made by GHQ.
Training Program:
04 years of training is available to girls selected following F.SC pre-medical exam at CMH Multan Lahore, Kharian, Quetta, and PNS Shifa. Or at AFPGMI Rawalpindi.
Nurses who are trained would go through just 04 weeks of training at the AFPGMI Rawalpindi.
After completing the training, women officers are given the grade of Lieutenant.
