The University of Baluchistan was established in October-1970 through an Ordinance issued by the then Governor Baluchistan. In June 1996, the Baluchistan Assembly passed an ACT called the University of Baluchistan ACT 1996. Thus the University of Baluchistan became the sole general. University of the Province imparting Higher Education to the entire population of the province in Science, Arts and Humanities.
University Of Baluchistan (Killa Saifullah Campus) Killa Saifullah has announced admission for session 2023. Applications are invited for following BACHELOR degree Programs.

Admission criteria
Admissions in the teaching departments shall be granted in proportion to the allocation of seats therein based on merit. 10% seats shall be on open merit while 1 5% shall be for Quetta district and the remaining 75% seats shall be for the remaining applicants belonging to the other district of the Province of Baluchistan
Admission is given to the local as well as domicile residents of the province on the following basis:-
Open Merit Baluchistan 10%.
Open merit Quetta District 15%.
Open Merit: District other than Quetta. 75%.
A number of seats are also reserved for other disciplines.
